The spirit of Latvian contemporary music in the new album of the orchestra Sinfonietta Riga
The compositions on the new album are by composer and orchestra Sinfonietta Riga the result of cooperation. “The turn of the age in which we live is the most beautiful time of music created in Latvia,” says conductor Normunds Šnē about the topicality of this music. The album captures four compositions – Ruta Paidere Tempera (2012), Andris Dzenītis Euphoria (2017), Platons Buravicki’s concert for saxophone and chamber orchestra Plastic temperature (2019) and Lindas Leimanes Ray-bows (2019).
